It’s here! The big event is Saturday 10/03/09.

We're getting a few questions so we'll try to answer some here:

I won’t know until later in the week if I can come. Can I pay at the door?
Yes, it is still $30 per person. We would appreciate you letting us know by shooting an e-mail to wphsreunion@gmail.com if you are going to make it after all. This enables us to ensure we don’t run short on food or seats.

Teachers, while your dinner reservation is paid we want to make sure we save you a plate so please let us know you’re coming.

I paid for my spouse and now they don’t want to come. Can I bring a friend or another class member?
Please do! We would love to see old classmates even if they weren’t in the age span. Chances are we have a memory of them too.

What is the attire?
Casual but most importantly what's most comfortable for visiting. Jeans are fine. Personally, I’ll probably be in a dress cause that’s what I’m most comfortable in.

What’s going on during the evening?
6:00 we start the stroll down memory lane and begin registering guest
6:30 dinner line opens
7:30 reminiscing program (let's see what you remember)
8:00 dance floor opens and visit till Midnight

Note worthy: cash only bar - ATM in hotel
We'll be selling raffle tickets for door prizes ($1 each or 6 for $5). The fund raising is to offset some of the event cost. Should any funds be collected above cost they will be donated to the Wills Point Alumni Association.

We so hope you are able to join us!

Words getting out!

The word is getting around now! Thanks guys! I've started hearing more getting RSVP’s from class of 73 and hearing a lot more positive talk from some of them. I got a message from Mr. Burden that he would probably be there, Ms. Eakin would probably be there and Coach Armstrong would definitely be there if he got an invitation. Could someone give us his address PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Email us at wphsreunion@gmail.com. Teachers – please RSVP if you are able to join us we want to have plenty seating for everyone.

Just to give you an idea of what’s in store for the evening our plans are to have printed programs listing each years class members, student council members, etc, a short program that will include Steve Harden singing a song or two, reflection on the way things used to be, and so special decorations that many of us have long forgotten. We're planning on the program being 30 minutes or less as we know you are there for the personal visitation. Don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture the moment too.
Head count is important so if you plan on coming please let us know. We know some have things pending not enabling you to commit right now but if you think there is a possibility you might be there let us hear from you.
Hope to see you there!
